Anatolia report denies presence of weapons on board Turkish ships


Anatolia report denies presence of weapons on board Turkish ships.A representative from the port of Anatolia in Turkey has denied claims by the Israeli authorities that some of the participants in the Freedom Flotilla had weapons. The spokesman pointed out that all the ships were subjected to extensive searches and no weapons of any kind were found in their possession.

This was confirmed by Turkish newspaper Tudeez Zaman, which said that the Customs Authorities in the port subjected all 500+ of the passengers on the Turkish ship to searches before its departure last Friday and that no weapons were found.
