Secondary school results in Palestinian Territories "significantly better"This morning (22.07.2010), the Ministries of Education in Gaza and Ramallah jointly announced the results of the 2010 General Secondary level examinations in the Palestinian Territories revealing that this year’s success rates are significantly better than in previous years.

During the press conference held by the two ministries, the General Director of examinations in Gaza’s ministry of education and Ramallah’s minister of secondary education jointly announced that "85.8% of students achieved outstanding results in science this year, while 60.6% achieved outstanding results in the humanities."

The ministries also announced that this year, 63% of students achieved academic excellence within the professional disciplines while the rate of success among irregular students was 36%.
