Mild earthquake hits occupied northern Palestine


The Israeli Organisation for Seismic Observation has confirmed the occurrence of a minor earth tremor in Upper Galilee, in the north of occupied Palestine.
 
It confirmed that an earthquake described as "mild" occurred last night in Upper Galilee measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale. It highlighted that no damage or injuries were caused.
 
According to Hebrew Radio which reported the news, the parliamentary science committee in the Israeli Knesset will reconvene on Monday morning (15.11.2010), to discuss the Israel's readiness to deal with earthquakes.
